Trained by Peabody instructor Julian Gray and various renowned guitarists, George Dunn will now be offering Guitar lessons for those who are serious about learning to play or play better.  

George was a professional guitarist for 4 years working with various bands managed under Starleigh Entertainment and is familiar with all styles of music.

When I got to college, I was self-taught and could play fairly well, but my instructor showed me that I was playing with bad technique. He said that eventually I would not be able to play some of the more technical music because with the bad technique it would be like I was the only swimmer in a race actually swimming with one arm tied behind my back… come to think of it, he may of said and cement blocks tied around my feet too! I fought this for a while because I could play already, but eventually I saw that he was right, and once my technique was reconstructed, though that process wasn't easy, everything became more natural and easy to play.

I have said all of that to say this… that there are a lot of online lessons available in this day and age of the internet, but nothing can compete with the one on one interaction of a watchful guide to catch you when you get off the right path. If on your own, you don't recognize when you may be straying from solid fundamentals, the further you could get from being able to master the guitar.

But as you become a Jedi master of your instrument, the application of your creativity is limitless!
